[SOLVED] linux-lts newer than linux. Is this normal?

i thought lts was on 6.1. this is a huge jump.

Not normal, but it does happen. 6.7 is in testing.

Ok thanks. So 6.6 is the new LTS. The issue here is that `linux` package is not up to date.

It's just not usual only.
It can happen, when new stable kernel version is just one number higher than lts kernel version.
If there are some problems with new stable kernel which needs to be resolved, it sits bit longer in testing repo.
(there is currently third version of new kernel: 6.7.0-arch3).
It takes more time to verify new kernel version with new features than just adding some changes in lts kernel.
