I am trying to find my printer over my network, but when I try to go "Add" "Printer", then "Find network printer" and then "Find" a printer, the message I've written in the title pops up prompting me for a password, a username and a domain. I have no idea what password it is prompting, as my user password, as well as my WIFI password didn't work. I have enabled cups.service with systemctl before, I've tried to follow this tutorial https://wittyjudge.github.io/posts/arch … r-install/ with the command "$ sudo usermod -aG lp $USER
" included, but that didn't help either. I also went to "Server" "connect" and then connected to this "/run/cups/cups.sock" server. I also tried the server "localhost", but both prompted me with the same message

The issue was solved by using the manage printing app that is installed with cups by default
I think you may have used 'report' by mistake.
