You are not logged in.
So If I open gnome settings, and I select the display tab, the application just crashes. This will not happen if I connect a secondary display, which will render my laptop display unactive.
Iĺl gladly provide any additional information you want, it's a fresh install on my Galaxy Book 2 laptop, it has only the gnome package installed with all it's elements. In terms of gpu, it only has the intel iGPU.

In my experience, Gnome is not the best desktop environment for Arch. XFCE and Cinnamon are stabler. I would install several desktop environments -- Cinnamon, XFCE4, Awesome, and Qtile -- and test them in this order.
