I've set Plymouth on numerous systems before, according to the wiki. Always worked.
Since last restart, I couldn't boot into Plasma, got a black/blank screen, stucked, alt+ctrl f6 and others didn't seem to work.
Fallback kernel worked because it didn't have "splash" in the kernel parameters.
Wherever I put "splash" now I get booted into a blank screen. Also there's no plymouth animation.
I don't remember changing anything in the mean time.
But I did delete one strange junk file in home dir, by using INODE, as it was stubborn and couldn't be deleted by rm or dolphin.
Anyway, I checked both partitions (boot and system) with gparted USB and it repaired whatever it needed to. It didn't help for this problem, whatsoever.

"splash" isn't in that journal.
Generically, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel … _KMS_start and add "initcall_blacklist=simpledrm_platform_driver_init" to the https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel … mmand_line

Sorry
also
if the first one failed to log plymouth.
Tried both methods, still the same.
I've reinstalled plymouth, checked its conf file and appears normal.
So - plymouth fails to display anything (blank screen), cannot boot to Plasma (also blank screen).

Fixed it.
I made a mistake adding "radeon" to MODULES, instead of amdgpu. That's why it didn't work.
Adding kms to mkinit also works. Not sure which is better, but I opted for Modules.
