Twitch Login not working

Not sure since when this is a widespread issue, i found some reddit posts from about a year ago and a few months ago.
I tried every browser but they all were "not supported". i even tried waterfox with wine (again "not supported")
The only fix for this that worked i found (on reddit), was using chromium with a user agent switcher plugin  ("User Agent Switcher from Chrome") and then setting the "chrome (default)" user agent.
if someone else is struggling with this that will most likely work.
im curious if someone else found other solutions or knows whats going on.

What is the exact issue? What does "not supported" mean?
I'm using plain Firefox and I can log in to Twitch without any problems.
