Last week I did a full system upgrade `pacman -Suy`, after that upgrade whenever I remove the headphone jack it won't work again until I restart my laptop

I couldn't find any errors in dmesg related to audio, when I connect the headset in aux I see the notification that audio output changed but still no sound unless I restart.

I tried the solution suggested and it seems to fixed it for now, I will report back if I get it again:
