Weird stutter on KDE Plasma with Wayland with nvidia proprietary drive

Hello, I get this weird, awful stutter on Wayland: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ … e5b038d09&
It's gone in windowed mode but there in both fullscreen and borderless windowed mode.
Is there anything I can do about it?

Please post your complete system journal for the boot:

Watched the video - is only this game (resp. steam generally, I guess) affected?

No, I also tried Satisfactory using Heroic Games Launcher and it had the same issue.

Can you reproduce this issue on X11 also? (try with: KWIN's effects disabled + remove any nVIDIA's settings + only set in-game V-Sync)

Not that curiously. SDL games can use wayland natively. You'll primarily have this issue with stuff running on xwayland. The current nvidia-beta driver has a bunch of fixes here so this might be worth a shot, otherwise https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xorg … t-sync-git but that's also in experimental valley.

Thank you so much! I read that explicit sync could be a possible way of fixing it but didn't know there was already an implementation of it! It did indeed fix my problem!
