Hi,
I've just installed Arch with KDE Plasma (version 5.27.10) and SDDM. But when I want to shutdown, sleep, or logout, I don't get the confirmation dialog first. It immediately shut down itself without confirming. How can I bring that confirmation dialog just like in Manjaro KDE?

shutdown, sleep, or logout
*how*?
If you mean via some KDE menu/button you most likely have disabled that in systemsettings, https://userbase.kde.org/File:Snapshot- … config.png
Alternatively it might just crash, notably if you're not using the breeze "look and feel"

Please replace the oversized images w/ links.
There's a checked box that says "show" for the "Logout screen", should do.
Try the regular breeze and please explain exactly *how* you "want to shutdown, sleep, or logout"

And what if you logout/suspend from the regular menu?

It looks like the problem is in your Kappl Menu settings. Have you tried any other desktop manager like SDDM and see if problem persist? What if you delete Kapp? Or is there any kapprc file in your ~/.config to check?

Is "Kappl" the name of the "custom top panel"? (can't seem to find anything w/ that name)
Otherwise @zielisme please elaborate on what "custom top panel" that exactly is.
