I currently have an HL-L2305W printer from brother, and I am trying to set it up. On other linux distros before I started using arch, My printer supports "Driverless" CUPS Printing. But, when I added my printer, It used a driver for another printer. So, I started the avahi daemon, thinking that it would do something. Instead, when I selected the driver, My system said that my printer was "Rejecting Jobs." I then selected the Generic IPP Everywhere driver, But, Instead of printing, My printer would say "Receiving data" for an indefinite amount of time. Please note: On distros like Nobara, CUPS Just uses driverless printing, and prints normally!
****Note*****
when I add a driver onto the rejecting jobs printer, it says failed to add driver.
