battery wont work

Ive had this laptop since COVID19 but the battery never charged i took a look inside it and the battery is there but it just won't charge this is what I get from upower -i /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0

ps ive had arch linux for over a week now but the battery never worked i have a dynabook portegue A30-E-1JC btw if thats uesfull
