[SOLVED] Downloads and uploads not working on Brave browser

When I try to download or upload anything nothing happens, download or upload does not start. Previously GTK file picker would pop up and I would be able to choose a location.  I believe it started after I downloaded brave-beta-bin package (after brave-git was orphaned).

I just removed xdg-desktop-portal-gnome and it removed xdg-desktop-portal-gtk as well. Now it works fine again. Does anybody know what uses xdg-desktop-portal-gnome?

Basically GNOME and you don't want to use that when on "not gnome". xdg-desktop-portal-gtk can however be wanted if you want the GTK file picker for the portal implementation of a file picker.
