USB-C to HDMI not working on Arch Linux when running Hyprland

This has been puzzling me for a few days now

I'm on a ASUS ROG TUF F15 laptop (NVIDIA) running arch linux, which i installed both manually, and with the archinstall script, and got the same results twice.

The first time (Installing arch manually) I had zero luck getting my third monitor, which is the one connect with usb-c to show up at all, even with xrandr

I then installed fedora, and ran hyprland on fedora, and my usb-c monitor worked flawlessly. So i thought maybe i installed arch wrong, so i installed arch again using the archinstall script, with the desktop enviroment preset, running gnome.
The usb-c monitor worked fine on gnome, but if i switch my desktop environment to hyprland, it will not show up, even on xrandr.

I'm using a crappy walmart onn. brand usb-c to hdmi, so I'm wondering if getting a more reliable usb-c to hdmi, might help, but i cant seem to understand why it wont work.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Fedora might have patched hyprland/wlroots?
