I don't know if it's a problem with iwlwifi and/or thunar. I think it delays installation and completion. That's how I check how systematic and optimized-clean the system is. It's not running like clockwork.
iwlwifi: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=292928 (now solved but still warnings/errors in journal) + Rarely trouble on internet too. But after reboot, its working
Should i uninstall dolphin ? Or should i install some packages for management ? Its fresh install.

"The download ... it won't work" -- sounds like I am talking to my 90 year old mother trying to use her iPhone. What is "The"? What is "it"?
Remember your reader -- you know what the pronouns reference, we don't.
As to swaybg, you might look at swww (AUR) if you are fighting playing with Hyprland.

EDIT: (deleted some)
I am also very confused by the OP. Many different topics are mentioned but they don't seem related. Ewaller's point about pronouns is the same one I made previously here:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p2142883
While there are multiple changes that would be needed to make your post clear, focusing on using pronouns carefully (or just avoiding pronouns for now) will likely be the simplest step you could take to improve clarity.

You don't speak English. You think you do, but you don't.
=> use https://deepl.com - always.
Please don't create shopping list threads, open one thread per problem - or get a blog.
Opening the downloaded file is - likely - an xdg-open issue, maybe portal or maybe just the ambiguity
xdg-open /tmp
xdg-mime query default inode/directoryEdit, just remembered some browsers might use file:/
xdg-open file:///tmp
xdg-mime query default x-scheme-handler/file//edit
Should i uninstall dolphin?
That will resolve the ambiguity, but not necessarily your problem and it's not required to control the default filemanager.
Your wallpaper might be down to too much IO load or the actual bg.png changing and beign of different size (loading an 8k image takes a bit longer than a FullHD one)

I think I need technical terms. Or maybe Turkish is a `broken` language in general. Because when I say it in Turkish, people understand it. But as others have said, I think Eng translation is a problem. But should I prefer the word `execute`? I think you are looking for too many terms. Because it's actually simple; I don't know how else to explain it.
**When I click on the downloads icon on the top right of the browser and click on the last downloaded one, `no reaction` that downloaded program doesn't open/execute. **Is this explanation better? If so, i will use like this now on.
I identified it as a background problem (or rather, a problem that can't run) because, as I learned from the forum, I see these problems when I look at it. Doplhin and thunar are not in the same category? I thought the others might be related to this, right? *Not only does it not open the downloaded program, it also does not open the downloaded location when I click on the file icon next to it
From first terminal:
guns@roses ~ % xdg-open /tmp
[053 12:08:16.537791] [glfw error 65544]: process_desktop_settings: failed with error: [org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown] The name is not activatableFrom second terminal:
guns@roses /tmp % xdg-mime query default inode/directory
kitty-open.desktopI wasn't sure if removing Dolphin would remove a lot, which I would if it solves the ambiguity problem. And I don't want to use one package and host another. Dolphin is removed.
(loading an 8k image takes a bit longer than a FullHD one)
If I optimize the picture I have from a quality enhancement site, will it work?

Yea, that just lacks any relevant context in your native language as well.
You *know* what "downloads" you're talking about but we have to *guess* that it's "the top right of the browser and click on the last downloaded one" and that still doesn't say what browser it actually is (firefox, chromium; from the repos or a flatpak)
So you installed kitty as default inode handler…
https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/binary/ … n-on-linux
Edit: there's an explicit warning there.
What about the x-scheme-handler/file handler?

Firefox. Do you advise me to use another terminal? Normally I use terminator. They said to stick with Kitty, foot is good too. Some friends said it could cause big problems in the future. Regarding the warning, I didn't copy it anywhere. I downloaded and installed it with pacman -S. What should I do?
Is Thunar a good choice, by the way? I wanted something as independent as possible. Dolphin seems a bit of a problem. It uses a lot of stuff, do you think it's ok to remove it? I don't want to use Gnome programs, I've experienced it with you, it's not a robust system.
What about the x-scheme-handler/file handler? < I did not understand that one.
Offline
That has nothing to do with what TE you're using but that it's configured to handle directories.
The desktop service is indeed installed by the package for whatever reason, but you'll have to configure thunar to handle inodes and file:// URIs no matter what.

xdg-open file:///tmp xdg-mime query default x-scheme-handler/file

Yes, that is much more clear. However, this also shows that the problem is not a language barrier, but rather faulty assumptions. When you click on that icon, the window that opens is not thunar, but a file dialog created by the browser itself.
So now we have the actual question here in the 5th post, but it doesn't related to anything discussed previously in the thread (thunar and dolphin are not relevant, neither are background images or iwlwifi).
The problem is most likely with the configuration of xdg-open.

Operator problem ?
xdg-open file:///tmp
xdg-mime query default x-scheme-handler/fileWhen I use these two codes, the 1st one opens a new terminal in /tmp. The output of the first terminal is as follows:
[053 18:40:54.361429] [glfw error 65544]: process_desktop_settings: failed with error: [org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown] The name is not activatable
In the second terminal I executed the 2nd code, no output
@Trilby thank you.
**Dolphin and thunar are not both file managers? **I was just thinking about this and it turns out it's xdg

I accidentally applied the first line on my pc at home. I'm using thunar on it too, is it ok? I had 1-2 problems with org.desktop. On the contrary, does it apply a healthy configuration for thunar or not? I might as well ask that too.

How do you "accidentally" run a command?
I don't know whether using thunar is ok **for you** - do you still not understand how you can control the default filemanager?
I had 1-2 problems with org.desktop. On the contrary, does it apply a healthy configuration for thunar or not? I might as well ask that too.
I assume this makes as much no sense in Turkish?
What kind of "1-2 problems"?
What is "org.desktop"?
What applies a config for thunar?
What do you consider "healthy"?
Did you enter the commands, did xdg-open then default to thunar and does your browser now behave as you expect it to?

I thought I was on my laptop, I was working hard, I got distracted and when I got home I checked the forum and executed the command.

What I wanted to ask here was; I also use thunar on the desktop computer at home, so the first command I run by mistake is not a problem, but it provides a healthy configuration for thunar, right?
What kind of "1-2 problems"?
What is "org.desktop"?
These kind of:
dbus-broker-launch[744]: Service file '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.kde.dolphin.FileManager1.service' is not named after the D-Bus name 'org.freedesktop.FileManager1'.
dbus-broker-launch[744]: Service file '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.xfce.Thunar.FileManager1.service' is not named after the D-Bus name 'org.freedesktop.FileManager1'.
What applies a config for thunar?
What do you consider "healthy"?
xdg-mime default thunar.desktop inode/directory
xdg-mime default thunar.desktop x-scheme-handler/file
xdg-open /tmp
xdg-open file:///tmp
These commands you shared with me are a healthy and successful configuration for me.
xdg-open /tmp
xdg-open file:///tmp
When I type these two commands, /tmp opens in the file manager. I think it is working now (?)
Offline
The dbus-broker-launch messages are just noise and you're free to configure your desktop as you like - the commands will set thunar as handler for inodes (directories) and file:// urls
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
