I'm talking about this package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/zoom
When I launch it, it shows up as a process in htop for 2-3 seconds and then it terminates.
Launching it through a terminal, nothing gets reported back.
I checked the system journal manually plus I tried something like:
sudo journalctl -n 1000 --no-pager | grep zoom
but still, nothing gets reported.
I also tried removing the zoom package with
sudo pacman -R zoom
and then reinstalling it using:
cd <my-local-aur-zoom-repo>
git pull
makepkg -si
but I still get the same behavior when launching zoom.
Any other ideas?
Thanks!
I have fully updated my system as of now 21 feb 15:00 Athens local time.

HI, I think I'm running into the same issue.
I have zoom 5.17.5-1 installed, with Linux 6.7.5-arch1-1. I'm running on Sway+Wayland (using the sway-git and wlroots-git packages for better support for Nvidia and DisplayLink). I recently upgraded my system, and since then I am unable to lauch zoom. I have tried downgrading zoom, but this doesn't work either.
In dmesg I clearly experience seqfaults when launching zoom:

The pacmd is a red herring, but the GPU process errors makes me think this is either a wlroots issue, a QT5 issue, or something even lower down
Does anyone have an idea?
EDIT #1:
Ah, OK it seems for me the issue was due to some strangeness with sway-git and wlroots-git... I have instead switched to sway and wlroots0.16-nvidia and that now works for me!
