I bought a new mini PC, and bluetooth is not starting on startup in Arch (KDE Plasma).
I can enable bluetooth manually by going to System Settings -> Bluetooth and then click the Enable button.
Once I manually enable bluetooth, if I do a sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service, then bluetooth stops working again.
From boot logs:

Is there anything I can do to start the bluetooth service automatically so I don't have to do it manually? A kernel param, perhaps?

The following two methods work to turn on bluetooth after my computer boots:
$ sudo bluetoothctl power onand:
$ sudo rfkill block bluetooth
$ sudo rfkill unblock bluetoothI have created a bash script that runs on startup to turn on bluetooth:
#!/usr/bin/env bash
/usr/bin/rfkill block bluetooth
/usr/bin/rfkill unblock bluetooth
/usr/bin/sleep 3
/usr/bin/bluetoothctl connect 00:42:79:C4:CB:42(the last line connects to my bluetooth speaker)
Not ideal, but works for now ![]()

I swapped the m.2 wifi-BT card with one that was in my laptop. The laptop works fine with the wifi-bluetooth card (i.e. bluetooth automatically starts when the laptop boots), so it looks like the issue isn't with the m.2 bluetooth card. Also, the wifi-BT card that was in my laptop (and was working perfectly) also fails to enable bluetooth on boot. So it looks like it's something on my mini PC that is causing the issue. I'll try a clean install...

Clean install did the trick - bluetooth is now enabled when the computer boots.
