Hi everyone,
first time poster
I'm am trying to get my wifi working (an ipw3945),
so as a good person, i read and followed the wiki that talks about the ipw3945.
Installed it, but can't have any wireless..
I think the problem may be this:
[root@iarwain-laptop ~] modprobe ipw3945
FATAL: Module ipw3945 not found.
What could be the cause of this?

Ugh. Would it be much of an hassle for you to reinstall with this: http://www.archlinux.org/~tpowa/newisos … 9-i686.iso ?
Keeping your system up to date is kind of essential in Arch and there were quite a few kernel/bootup-related changes since the 0.7.2-installer was released.
The general installation concept goes like this:
- use the latest ISO
- install only the "base" set of packages
- upon successful reboot after the install, learn to know pacman (rtfm, fix mirrors etc)
- then run 'pacman -Syu' (read the output and act accordingly, especially if it's from the kernel pkg)
- configure your system, install stuff, have fun!
