photos on me ipod

Hi,

I am looking for a way to get my photos on my ipod have tried gpixpod .. looking at pythophotoipod but its not building ;-(

Kinda giving up the idea of using a gui app is there a way to load photos using cli ?

gtkpod will work for music and video but complains when trying to load images ...
