Find character set covered by font

I have a font installed, and I'd like to know what character set it provides.

Is there a tool to find out such metadata about fonts?

Example query: does DejaVu Sans Mono have Asian characters support?

You can look at the font using eg. fontforge and "fc-list :charset=1234" would list all fonts providing the utf8 codepoint 1234.

There several utf8 blocks for various categories, but they'd be hangul or kanji etc. Not "asian" (it's a fucking huge continent and i believ india alone has like a trazillion different languages )
