No twinview TV out in X; GeForce 7600 GS (long)

I'm running a mythtv machine with a Hauppauge PVR-350 for output; unfortunately I cannot get that to work with the current version of myth, so I'm working on coming out of my video card with TV out.

I have an XFX GeForce 7600 GS, which should be capable of twinview; it has 2 digital outputs and an s-video tv out.  One of the digital outputs is connected to my viewsonic flat screen, the other is not connected.  The s-video is connected to my old CRT TV.

When I boot the machine, I get a command line display on both the monitor and the tv, but it "rolls" on the tv.  If I get X to come up on the tv and then go back to the command line, the rolling on the tv stops.

While I can get X to come up on either the TV or the monitor, I cannot get it to come up on both.  I've experimented with all kinds of neat stuff in xorg.conf, but I'm obviously missing something.

Below is my latest version of xorg.conf, and following that is what I think is the significant part of the Xorg.0.log.  Everything seems to be working, but I get nothing on my TV.

The only warning I get in the Xorg log is the following:

(WW) Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (No such file or directory)
