[SOLVED]mdadm and mkinitcpio are in conflict. Remove mkinitcpio? [y/N]
i have a fresh install using archinstall, the only thing i did is run "mkinitcpio" so that my keymap gets activated next time i boot (to login with my language keymap the password) and then install some programs, but when i try to install 'caja', 'kolourpaint' or some others, i get [see title]
i have no idea what mkinitcpio does and don't care; no google results for this conflict
what i do?

Sounds like a partial update. Do you have anything in IgnorePkg in pacman.conf?
