Crashing On yay -S orca-slicer

When its going through the makepkg part of the command it fills up my ram and the konsole crashes, i have 32gb of ram and it eventually fills up and crashes with no error or notice, it just closes.
Do I really need more ram?
If you need any other info let me know, i am a little new.

Does this also happen when *not* using yay (which builds everything in a tmpfs by default and is generally rather on the buggy side)?

Are you building in /tmp? Don't do that for big packages.

Mod note, moving to AUR issues.
