USB mouse and keyboard not working

When I booted my computer today, I found out that my USB keyboard and mouse are not working. I am using the latest stock kernel. PS/2 keyboard works, and I tried to boot a live distro and both keyboard and mouse work there. Any ideas what can be wrong? an answer asap is much appriciated.

Re: USB mouse and keyboard not working

You are probably missing :

usbinput

in the HOOKS live in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf.
Run

mkinitcpio -p kernel26

after adding that info an reboot.

Re: USB mouse and keyboard not working

I managed to get it working by adding usbhid usbcore to MODULES in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and remaking the image.
