Re: [SOLVED]For some reason none of my programs are working

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

For the network situation, please open a new thread and post a complete system journal for a regular boot.

Re: [SOLVED]For some reason none of my programs are working

Appreciate the help. It feels good to see my screen again. Guess I should be careful next time I update. Quick question, is there a way I can see what made my go into emergency mode? First time pacman -Syu ever did that usually i even install packages with -Syu. Still better than windows though

The system might have crashed or you for other reasons rebooted w/ the power button, leading to a corrupted filesystem.
Could also be too aggressive trimmign on an SSD or general nvme flaws (see the wiki for both topics)

Re: [SOLVED]For some reason none of my programs are working

I always shut it down with the command line. Day I updated I was really tired. Not entirely sure I remember updating then the next day it crashed. Was coming baxk from vacation. I was excited trying to customize it then boom.
¯\_(°⊱,°)_/¯
Don't really mind not being online but not being able to use stuff was no bueno. Once again thank you, if I ever need help I'll make sure my post is precise with the information people need. Trying to get better at identifying the problem I kept seeing polkit but didn't know about the rest of the programs. Still a bit confused about the experience.
