Hello! Since I upgraded to plasma 6 I am having a big issue with wayland. During gaming (and only gaming) I experience a weird issue where old game frames appear for a short period of time on screen. Here's a small video to show you what I mean. (Game is watch dogs 2. Other games become literally unplayable due to the effect being way more severe). https://files.catbox.moe/rtkzta.mp4
This only happens on wayland. I'm using Nvidia drivers nvidia-dkms 550.54.14-4 with a 1650 max-q and a ryzen 5 4600H. I am playing through Lutris and happens with both wine-staging from the arch repo and wine-ge from protonup-qt. If you need any more information, tell me and I will post it ASAP.
Thank you very much in advance. <3

Seems to be some hickup in the new tearing enablement implementation. Disable tearing prevention in "System Settings" -> "Display and Monitors" -> "tearing prevention" (paraphrased, the checkbox at the bottom)
Other than that, what could also be the case here is the lacking xwayland implicit sync on nvidia. You could opt for https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xorg … t-sync-git which should help here. Generally explicit syncing support is something everyone wants and in active development, so one hopefully doesn't need experimental MRs in the near future.

Installing that AUR package seems to mitigate the issue! Thank you very much <3
Just to make sure, during the installation of the package, I had to uninstall 2 packages because they were in conflict with the new package (makes sense, because we are replacing a package), but am I going to have any trouble when updating to another big plasma release that needs this dependencies?
Edit: It did fix the issue, but now watch dogs 2 crashes, I can live with that, alredy beat the game lol. Just saying that it's strange.

you can replace them with the repo version again if need be, generally speaking this should be more or less safe to use
