[SOLVED] Graphical issues with certain apps after updating to Plasma 6

I updated to Plasma 6 today and ever since the update I've been experiencing graphical issues with certain apps, more specifically with Code-OSS and Discord. The issues I'm experiencing are application windows flickering and text input being extremely laggy.

Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

Nvidia? If yes it's because you're now defaulting to wayland which has the issues you've describe. Logout and switch to X11 to fix the issues. Eventually Nvidia will work with wayland properly.

Thank you. Switching to X11 fixed it. I've only recently switched to a PC with Nvidia GPU so I was completely unaware of Wayland's issues with Nvidia.

Exactly the same issue and after hours trying to find all kind of solutions, it's definitely about Wayland not really working on Nvidia. Switching to X11 for now. Every time I input a character on this comment box, Code OSS window in the background flickers in a way that's infuriating. Chrome flickering is also unbearable, though less so than Code OSS. Native non-X11 programs like Konsole seems to work without any flicker.
