Latte-dock I believed is not supported by Plasma 6 but it seems there has been a rework of the package:

It's not however in the repos. Are we to expect this in the near future?

There is no rework, latte-dock doesn't work in Plasma 6 so it's gone

Thanks for clarifying arojas. A bit sad as I really like latte-dock. Any recommendation for a close substitute? Anyway I'll mark this solved as it answered my question.

depends on what you used latte-dock for, but the new configuration options that the default panels now have make it possible to configure it very similar to other docks I know (floating, fit content width) - I never used it for that though.

They definitely improved the panels but to me it's still less than latte. Personally to me the selling point of latte was on demand panels and a completely customizable task manager.
