Chromium-based browsers transparent black borders around elements

There are transparent black borders around some elements in Chromium-based browsers and Electron applications, does not happen in Firefox.
I don't know why this is happening.
My GPU driver is xf86-video-intel, maybe it has an issue that causes this, i'm not completely sure.

My GPU driver is xf86-video-intel

If your IGP isn't super-old, remove that.

Gen4 is Haswell from late 2012

If that doesn't fix it, link a screenshot for the problem.

Re: Chromium-based browsers transparent black borders around elements

My GPU is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150, and i can't find anything about its Gen number.
Mesa crashes upon launching X11 and Mesa-amber causes a red full screen.
Here is a screenshot of Bing, as you can see the "Introducing the new bing" box is a bit red:

Re: Chromium-based browsers transparent black borders around elements

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_GMA#GMA_3150 - a rather dated chip w/ very limited abilities.

You're gonna *need* mesa-amber, whether the xf86-video-intel or modesetting driver performs better needs to be seen.
Please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General

Re: Chromium-based browsers transparent black borders around elements

I have a new PC that does not have this problem, it did not even need me to manually install drivers.
I still could not fix it in the old PC.

Did you try the behavior w/ mesa-amber and w/ and w/o xf86-video-intel?
xorg log?
