Wayland: Fullscreen window blanks the screen after waking from suspend

Hi all,

Recently I've been encountering an issue with fullscreen applications on my Wayland session with KDE Plasma 5.27.10. They display just fine when my session is brand new, but after waking from suspend (to RAM), having them in focus just blanks my screen.
I have temporary fixes; logging out and restarting the Wayland session, as well as switching to another tty and back, fixes the issue temporarily. However, I'm wondering if there's some persistent fix I can implement that anyone knows of.

This hasn't always been an issue, but I cannot pinpoint exactly when this started happening. I'm not the best at tracking this yet.

I'm using the Mesa (1:23.3.2-2) drivers with a Radeon RX 7800 XT on kernel 6.6.10-arch1-1.

Would love to hear if anyone knows something to solve this permanently.

Try the just released 6.7 kernel.

did you manage to solve it ?
I have the same problem.
I am on kernel 6.7.7 and KDE Plasma 6.27.10 and mesa 23.3.6.
