Do you have pulseaudio or pipewire installed? They can coexist; I use pavucontrol (part of pulseaudio) as a GUI app to control my sound devices through pipewire+pulseaudio. You may need to unmute the audio sink from either of those, instead of straight ALSA/alsamixer.
EDIT: I see you have pipewire, jack and wireplumber installed, they're listed as your sound servers. You'll need to unmute in your active sound server, not just ALSA/alsamixer.
