CPU fan spins up when browsing web

I have have an issue with my CPU fan spinning up when I am browsing the web.  This happens frequently.  Once I close the browser (Brave: 1.63.174 Chromium: 122.0.6261.128), the fan slows down to a normal idle rate.  I have not noticed any spike in CPU usage.  I wonder if there is a controller issue?

See sig for motherboard.

Did you also monitor the temperature of your CPU?
You typically can change the fan curves in the UEFI

Do we know it is the CPU fan and not the GPU fan?

No, I can't say I checked CPU temps—will have to install software, I think.
Fan curves are default.  I'll look into that too.
Thanks.

Yes.  No doubt about it.
