[SOLVED] Troubles with suspend to disk & ati fglrx drive

I have 2.6.19-beyond kernel,  ati-fglrx-beyond 8.32.5-1 package. Suspend to disk works normaly with non-proprietary"ati" xorg driver or without X11 loaded (in clean console). But with fglrx driver it dosn't work. What must I do to have suspend to disk working with fglrx driver and X11 loaded?

Re: [SOLVED] Troubles with suspend to disk & ati fglrx drive

Hello,

I have problems resuming with fglrx whereas everything works with "ati" as well.

I'm using pm-utils for suspend, and I don't even have a /etc/hibernate directory. What is the software that you used? I'm willing to try any power management system that's worked!  smile

deavik - He's using uswsusp and the hibernate scripts.  Install them with: pacman -Sy uswsusp hibernate-script. This will let you run 'hibernate' as a command and have the computer hibernate. To run, it needs uswsusp to be set up properly. You can find more information here: http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram
