I posted this thread yesterday and it has over 50k views? Something has to be buggy...

Somebody opened it, fell asleep on the keyboard and rested their nose on F5
Edit: I opened it and it incremented as expected, so ^ isn't less plausible than an issue w/ the forum SW.

Is it views or unique views?

For S&G I just ran the following to see how long it would take to get to 51K ... only about a minute, then I stopped:
while :; do curl -sI https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=293992 >/dev/null 2>&1; done
I was thinking about being a smart-ass and doing that to all of Graysky's active threads without mentioning it. But that'd be more of a burden on the forum server than it'd be a prank on Graysky.
But I'd suspect the link to that thread got shared somewhere that got indexed by some search engine or some such. Note that "views" need not be human views. Though 50 K in a day is certainly odd - but I'd not infer a forum error. Just face it, Graysky: you're "trending", and it's time to "monetize" your forum posts.
While someone's nose landing on F5 seems unlikely, it could quite plausibly be a true useless use of (a) cat.
