Steam Library folder can't be changed, can't find game's location

Hello there!
Here I come with another weird issue.
This time is about Steam Library and me not being able to change my Steam Library folder and the fact that the "Browse Folder' button doesn't work from the Storage window.
Even if I try to browse a game's folder, right-click game in library-> Manage -> Browse Local Files  nothing shows up. I can't even find the games installed with Steam on my Home partition. I don't understand why it does that. I reinstalled steam using flatpak and now my old library is gone but I can tell games are still somewhere installed and Steam cant see them anymore so I have to install them again which feels like I have multiple same games installed occuping the disk in a useless way.

Why do I want to change the folder where steam installs my games? Because I just want to see and manage that folder better as currently it seems like it's invisible to me

Re: Steam Library folder can't be changed, can't find game's location

Are you mainly using Arch repo Steam or Flatpak repo Steam?

Arch repo Steam stores itself at "/home/username/.local/share/Steam".

Flatpak Steam has sandbox restrictions for what files it can access by default. Your Flatpak installs your user files that are confined inside of "/home/username/.var/nameofapp". Flatpak uses xdg-desktop-portal and xdg-document-portal services to talk with the rest of the system.

You can override Flatpak permissions with the "flatpak override" command or use GUI apps like Flatseal (or flatpak-kcm if you use KDE Plasma).

If you have both Arch repo Steam and Flatpak repo Steam installed at the same time, I believe the Flatpak Steam overtakes the Arch Steam version in the .desktop files and menus. Ensure you are launching the appropriate version.

Re: Steam Library folder can't be changed, can't find game's location

Hello spiffeeroo! Sorry for the missing details.  As I checked if I installed Steam using pacman -S steam or flatpak I remembered I installed it with flatpak. After unninstalling it and reinstalled using "pacman -S steam" the Storage location is set properly to "/home". So this problem is fixed now. Only one last question remains. Is there any way to choose an exact folder to which I want Steam to install games? I try to install a game but it's not letting me choose something else but the default partition directory
