Latest Arch update with Gnome 46 breaking everything
Updated my Arch today, and initially I didn't notice it got updated to gnome 46 until I realized none of the gnome extensions are working. I use tp-link Archer wifi adapter and it just doesn't work anymore, the LED light in it isn't even turning on. I am using Arch for last 1 year and there were minor hiccups after a few updates but never faced anything like this. For now I have rolled back to previous release but if I have to check and solve what's going wrong where do I start? I have decided to update again next week and check if things work or not.

There's no "previous release" in a "rollign release" distribution.
gnome breaking extensions with updates is absolutely normal because of the monkey-patching approach they take, but your WiFi sounds more like you also updated the kernel?
Does the LTS kernel still work?

My current kernel is 6.7.9 , after update it's becoming 6.8 so I am guessing LTS isn't working.

Based on what?
https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/linux-lts/
You're supposed to install that and use it isntead of 6.8 and see whether your wifi still works there.

Is there anyway to check if I’m using LTS or not? I guess I had installed LTS only but can’t remember

Thanks, I’ll try and see if it’s LTS, if not I’ll install the LTS kernel
