Failed to start Display Configuration. Plasma 6.

After upgrading to Plasma 6, the monitor switcher does not work any more. Pressing Meta + P shows the switch screen dialog, but selecting any of the options does nothing. Looking at the logs, every time the dialog pops out it throws:

Failed to start Display Configuration.

Switching to Wayland it works, but I don't want to use Wayland for now, I'm having several issues with it on games mostly.

Any help is really appreciated, thanks a lot!.
