Should I move my btrfs root volumes to subvolumes

I followed a guide on installing arch which suggested to use btrfs rather than ext4, not expecting to use any of its features immediately. I was reading about snapshots and subvolumes and realised that I installed directly to the root subvolume on both partitions (separate root and home, again wasn't entirely certain on btrfs features). Is there any reason for me to move the root subvolumes to individual subvolumes below the root? Is there any benefit of such for doing snapshots/other common features etc?

I've looked around for *how* to do it, however I'm not sure if I should, despite other users having the same question. I just don't want to lock myself out of common/useful btrfs usecases in the future.
