pacman -Qs portal

It looks like an approach to inhibit a screensaver through xdg-desktop-portal (because that's apparently the newest indirection, it's not like there isn't a screensaver dbus protocol already )

Try to install a portal implementation like xdg-desktop-portal-gtk (but probably only if celluloid can't control the screensaver beahvior otherwise)
