AUR package failing to clone git repository

I don't know if this is a makepkg issue, or what, but when I download the AUR package vulkan-nouveau-git, and I run makepkg, it fails to clone the mesa repository with the following error:
RPC failed; HTTP 500 curl 22 The requested URL returned error: 500

Is this a git configuration issue? Is there something wrong with the package? Because I can clone the mesa repo myself and I inspected the PKGBUILD and it references the same repository that I'm able to clone with git clone

This could be a case of https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … -/issues/6, so maybe it is fixed by curl 8.7.1-5 (which includes the fix for this)

When can I expect that in the main repos? Or do I need to use the aur version?

I'd expect it rather soon as the package was already signed off by a few testers. Can you clone the repo manually and put it in the appropriate place?

The package was moved to [core] and should be included in your next update
