After a recent update I'm unable to get videos to play on Youtube, or even downloaded .avi or .mp4 files through the Parole media player. The error I get on Parole is a popup box that says "The stream is taking too much time to load".
I found some posts on here about checking the audio system. I use pipewire, I don't have pulseaudio installed. But one command that one of the posts said to run which was `$ sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*` returns nothing. There is nothing shown.
Came across another post while posting this, which said to check journalctl -b. I searched around and found an error with wireplumber. The error said failure to load configuration file /etc/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf it is probably of wireplumber version 0.4. you can try and remove it. So I did and sound has begun to work again.
Leaving this here in case anyone else comes across the same issue.
