Disable bluetooth hardware at startup to prevent kernal panic

Hello,

I am getting a kernel panic at startup on my system due to the bluetooth adapter. I have tried killing and disabling the service, but for obvious reasons that does not work.

I notice that when I am using bluetuith, I can see that when the service is running (otherwise cant use the tool) that it seems to be powered on by default. I would like to have it powered off (is that a thing?) by default for both battery and to stop kernel panics.

For hardware (if it matters) I am using the system76 Serval WS (serv13) and getting this error.

Apologies if this seems like a newbie question, I have looked at a few other posts here and I'm missing something. Thanks!

Is there any output from the kernel panic?  Particularly relevant would be a backtrace and a list of loaded modules. What kernel versions produce the panic?
