Degraded Performance/stuck on P8 mode after suspend on Hybrid NVIDIA

Ever since I got RTD3 working on the proprietary NVIDIA drivers, I've had an issue where performance on the NVIDIA dGPU significantly degrades after suspending, even when the GPU is not in use, which can only be fixed by rebooting. I was able to figure out the issue is related to the GPU getting stuck on P8 performance mode, but not sure where to go from here. Are there any solutions/workarounds for this at the moment? I don't use my laptop GPU too often, but when I do it's annoying that I have to reboot first before using it.

I'd like to note that I'm using Wayland, but the same issue appears on Xorg (and stuff like trying to use Powermizer doesn't help, either)

Stuff like this is often down to system firmware reiniting HW in a broken state, check for an UEFI update.

This is exactly what I was afraid of... My UEFI is up to date. If this is the cause, then my firmware is probably just broken on Linux since my device doesn't have official support.
