I've installed arch 3 times but clearly it still has a few suprises up its sleeve, on my latest install I decided to venture out of my usual Firefox browser and try out some other minimal web browsers. It was a very fresh install, with only hyprland and paru set up (since no internet I typed everything by hand) of course, the first minimal browser I tried was surf, after tinkering here and there I never managed to open a simple youtube.com page, it says
GLib-Net-WARNING **: [...]: Failed to load TLS database: System trust contains zero trusted certificates; please investigate your GnuTLS configurationthen crashed. Okay, people on the internet do say surf has some trouble running on Wayland. So I searched for other alternatives and stumbled across vimb. this time it didnt crash, but the same GLib warning appeared, it also said
Unnacceptable TLS Certificate! Starting to get suspicious, after trying qutebrowser with similar results, I decided to install firefox anyway as a sanity check and sure enough, any site with https would not go through
what is happening?

Bazzite is not Arch, you should ask on the boards of your distribution. https://bbs.archlinux.org/misc.php?action=rules
Since OP wasn't here for a year and there's not much actionable for us to do here, I'll close this thread.
