I don't think that error relates the cause of the file corruption.
"Volume was not properly unmounted" happens if you don't properly reboot but push the power button, it might however have happened after the system was compromised.

You probably want to run

sudo LC_ALL=C pacman -Qkk | grep -v ', 0 altered files'

to see whether more files are affected (nb. that some deviations esp in /etc are perfectly normal - changes in /usr/bin and /usr/lib rather not)

And then keep an eye on the drive, compromised OS data is nasty, compromised private data is bad - make sure you've backups…
