New post-transaction hook and it's error

Due to the new glibc vuln that prob wouldn't even affect me I decided to sync since I was @ v.2.39, following the upgrade that seems to have went without a hitch, a post transaction hook that I've never seen "Regenerate NVIDIA CDI (Container Device Interface)" spat out the error "time="2024-04-24T10:04:55+02:00" level=error msg="failed to generate CDI spec: failed to create device CDI specs: failed to initialize NVML: ERROR_LIB_RM_VERSION_MISMATCH"
error: command failed to execute correctly", also I believe when I was looking at journalctl for unreleated reasons in the past months I've had warnings about NVRAM or NVML or such.

Here's the entire pacman transaction, if need be tell me which journalctl entry might be required too.

That's from nvidia-container-toolkit... are you using/intending to use nvidia inside of containers? Other than that see: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … -/issues/2

Just from a logistics perspective, chances are this can only successfully run  after the new nvidia module got loaded and there's a potential side effect in that the nvidia driver got updated in the same transaction.

Thank you for finding that all I was able to find about the error was extremely confusing nvidia documentation, and honestly I am completely unfamiliar with this. I believe I installed nvidia-container-toolkit when I was trying to run Invoke stable diffusion in docker a year ago. Point is, if I am not using it I can just uninstall the package without having issues? I got worried about making my machine unbootable if it was video driver related, so I didn't restart yet since I don't have a convenient usb to use for archiso.

It's safe to remove if you don't need it for these usecases anymore.
