Seems a perfect chance to try a quick Fermi estimate.

171 million people.  Guessing 20% use computers.  Linux is about 2% of the desktop.  Arch is probably near 3% of Linux users (not counting forks).  I'll bet the number is closer to 20000,

Nah, I'd put the estimate of Linux users in BD a bit lower, since the general populace is NOT tech savvy at all, so I'd say 1%, oh wait I'm almost right! StatCounter puts the %tile of Linux users in BD at 0.94% and among that, most just run Linux Mint, Ubuntu and Kali Linux lol So I stand by my number of 5000 even stronger, might as well be an overestimation.
