System crashed during pacman upgrade, cannot boot anymore.

Need urgent help. Don't know why it crashed during the upgrade. Upon rebooting, this message is displayed: https://i.imgur.com/cl1DMZU.jpeg

Going into tty and typing any pacman command displays: "pacman: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libarchive.so.13: file too short"

Would appreciate any possible solutions as I need to be able to use my computer tomorrow morning. Thanks a lot.
