no audio input & output

I recently installed arch (with some help) but there has been no audio input and output. All my audio outputs have worked when i tested it with speaker-test but outside of that, nothing. (settings detects nothing and websites that output audio such as youtube dont work)

aplay -l returns

I dont know what other info to give you because i am a noob to linux.

edit: I have resorted to using AI chatbots because i am impatient. apparently i can also hear sounds from the pauvcontrol popup.
Another edit: settings has detected stuff now. but i still cant hear audio from firefox.

Re: no audio input & output

Update: i managed to get it to work by replacing pipewire with pulseaudio and then restarting the pc.
