I'm still a bit new to arch, so I hope that I'm posting this to the correct page on the forums...
Recently I installed the explicit sync patch from the AUR for xwayland:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xorg … t-sync-git
and I just checked today that the page got removed. Does this mean that it finally got merged into the proprietary nvidia drivers?
I read on some forums that the update wasn't supposed to happen until may 15th, so I'm a bit confused.

The support needs to be active in xorg-xwayland before drivers can use it. The development version does include that support now, so there's no need for a separate pacakge anymore.
See https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/li … NU3PGNNM2/
If you want to use xorg-xwayland with the explicit sync support before it gets offically released, use https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xorg-xwayland-git
(same maintainer as xorg-xwayland explicit-sync )
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
