conkey & enlightenment?

I've got several wm's and conky. Together with enligtenment conky  gives wierd results:

e16 does not show anything, untill you switch to the next virtual deskop: taadaa there is is
e17 does not show conky output at all

I like arch
I like e17
I like conky

why don't they like each other?

(I could change my conkyrc to run in a terminal but I don't want that)

Somewhere between "too small" and "too large" lies the size that is just right.

Re: conkey & enlightenment?

I had the same problem. You could try the following in your conkyrc:

# Create own window instead of using desktop (required in nautilus)
own_window yes
own_window_type desktop

# Use pseudo transparency with own_window?
own_window_transparent yes

Conky will run in its own window. You can try to adjust these settings. Maybe the window isn't needed anymore.  I stopped using conky because it was flikering but it seems to be OK now.
