GIFT abs makepkg failure

i wanted to test the pictureindex module GIFT(="GNU Image finding tool")

but at the makepkg process i get the following error
i can't find the package what i need sad please help

It builds fine here. Try reinstalling perl.

it's perlxml it needs. happens a lot that packages miss makedepends.  :!:
